The ultra-hardcore Move Dev Meetup Shanghai offline exchange meeting concluded successfully

From 2 to 6 pm on September 16, Beijing time, the Move developer offline exchange meeting organized by MoveFuns DAO and other organizations was successfully completed at Shanghai Yueda International Building. This event is also a peripheral activity of Shanghai Blockchain Week and has received widespread attention from Web3 practitioners.

This exchange meeting was hosted by Ian, the manager of the OpenBuild technology community. More than 50 participants came to the scene to participate in this exchange. The following is what the guests shared:

Jolestar is the founder of RoochNetwork. He shared about Move, a smart contract programming language that is different from Solidity, and introduced the resource-oriented features of Move. That is, the Move language is the first to try to isolate contracts through the type system of a programming language. programming language, originally developed by Facebook for the Diem blockchain. It also introduced how Rooch uses the Move language to build application containers on the entire chain. Rooch uses StorageAbstraction to provide developers with rich state storage and retrieval capabilities, and uses AccountAbstraction to solve the user's entry barrier problem. Finally, we also shared the features that Rooch is developing, such as the Tick service (system scheduled call service) required for full-chain game scenarios.

Aaron is a core engineer at Aptos. As an early member of the Libra/Diem project, he participated in the design and development of the storage and execution layers. He introduced the new versions of the digital asset standard (Digital Asset, DA) and non-fungible asset standard (Fungible Asset, FA) that were recently released by Aptos Move language. In the future, projects on Aptos will issue new versions of NFT and tokens based on this. Compare ERC721 and ERC20 respectively. Finally, the newly developed module event framework (Module Event) on Aptos Move is introduced, which will be used to replace the current event framework.

nanne007 is the co-founder of zkMove. He shared how zkMove combines zero-knowledge proof with the Move language to build a zkMove VM operating environment that enhances the capabilities of smart contracts. In addition, nanne007 also shared some development experience. ZKP, as the focus and hot spot in the current academic research and blockchain application fields, does have a high development threshold.

Adu is a developer and independent auditor of blockchain. He started from where Sui DeepBook came from and compared the advantages and disadvantages, current pain points and future development of CEX, AMM and decentralized central limit order book (CLOB). possible direction. As the basic liquidity facility of the Sui ecosystem, DeepBook 's low latency and high throughput characteristics, combined with the decentralized automatic market maker model, will improve capital efficiency, enhance trading experience, and solve long-tail asset liquidity in the future. Inadequacy and the ability to retain order book price discovery are expected to eventually increase the weight of on-chain pricing of mainstream crypto assets and contribute important impetus to the migration of centralized trading platforms to decentralized trading platforms.

Shirlene is the ambassador of Sui and a core contributor of MoveFuns DAO. She briefly introduced the various funding plans in the Sui ecology and extended an invitation to all Web3ers present who are interested in the Sui ecology and the Move ecology to participate in MoveFuns x Sui Star Navigation Plan to help the development of Move ecosystem and win prizes such as new iPhones. The program is currently recruiting learners, please send a private message to register if you are interested.
