1. Configuration requirements
Because the Stable Diffusion we currently installed is different from other AIGC tools on the market, it is an open source project on GitHub. You need to install it after configuring Python and Git in your own computer environment to use the performance of your own computer for image generation, while other AIGC tools are generally calculated and generated on the cloud server provided by the company. Therefore, when we use Stable Diffusion, our computer needs to have certain configurations.
Recommended configuration, Win10 or above system
CPU: 8th generation Core I5 or above CPU (a little worse is OK but not too much)
Graphics card: RTX 2060 6GB graphics card or above (it is better to use N card here)
Memory: 8GB Memory and
hard drive: more than 30GB of free hard drive space
2. Installation preparation
2-1. Install python
Python official website: python.org/downloads
It is recommended to install version 3.10.6 (this is the installation version recommended by the author of Stable Diffusion WebUI). Open the installation page to find version 3.10.6 to download, and then install it in a fool-proof manner. The only thing you need to pay attention to is to check the box during installation. Select add python 3.10 to PATH.
2-2.Install git
Git official website: https://git-scm.com/download
Find 64-bit Git windows Setup to download. Just proceed to the next step of installation.
2-3. Install Stable Diffusion Web-UI
Then install Stable Diffusion WebUI, open cmd in the corresponding installation folder (the folder path cannot contain Chinese characters), and copy the following code
git clone https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui.git
Wait for the installation to complete, and you will see the stable-diffusion-webui folder. Click to open webui-user.bat, wait for the necessary startup items to be installed, and then open 127.0.0.1:7860 in the browser to enter the Stable Diffusion WebUI interface. .
