On September 5, at a press conference on steady growth of key industries held by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Wang Weiming, director of the Equipment Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said that from January to July this year, my country's new energy vehicle production and sales exceeded 4.5 million units, a year-on-year increase of more than 40%. Among them, 636,000 vehicles were exported, a year-on-year increase of 1.5 times, becoming a strong growth point for our country's economy. The new energy automobile industry has huge growth potential and is a representative of the deep integration of emerging technologies and industries. It has high hopes for mitigating environmental pollution, fossil energy crisis, global warming, creating new economic growth points, and driving the transformation and upgrading of the entire automobile industry (Li et al., 2020).
