KCC , the full name of KAIYUANSHE City Community (Chinese: Kaiyuanshe City Community), is a regional open source organization initiated by Kaiyuanshe and aims to allow open source communities to take root in every city.

Since its launch in February 2023, we have successively established KCC organizations in cities at home and abroad such as Nanjing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, Silicon Valley, Singapore, and Dalian.

Dalian has unique IT advantages. Dalian has tens of thousands of IT practitioners, many well-known domestic and foreign companies, such as IBM, Accenture, Oracle, SAP, Rakuten, etc., as well as many well-known domestic universities, such as Dalian University of Technology, Dalian Maritime University, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, etc. However, with the slow development of IT service outsourcing in recent years, many companies or employees are facing the challenge of transformation, which has directly caused the flow of some IT talents to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

Can open source become a direction that Dalian IT service outsourcing enterprises can try to break through on their transformation journey? In fact, there are already companies in Dalian trying to do things in this area, so can this spark continue to burn or even expand? Then more companies need to understand open source and understand some of the business logic behind open source.

To this end, KCC@Dalian specially invited Mr. Shi Si , a well-known domestic open source evangelist, author of "The Mystery of Open Source" and creator of "The Way of Open Source" , to come to Dalian to give a talk on the topic of open source business for companies and individuals in Dalian who are concerned about open source. share.
