Land use comprehensive index
The first step is to prepare data
The data used is the land use type data of Henan Province in 2010 and its administrative division and county-level data (in order to save operations, part of the data from the last experiment [1] is used here, and each land use type has been extracted)
Second step area statistics
Waters for example
Run ArcToolbox, open [Spatial Analysis Tool], select [Table Display Zoning Statistics] in [Regional Analysis] to bring up the interface, and set parameters. Select the administrative division of Henan Province as the input raster or element area data, and select the NAME with the administrative division as the area field; the input assignment raster is the extracted water feature; set the output path in the output table and apply it.
The water area zoning statistical table was exported successfully. We opened the data to view the attribute table, which is shown as follows. Each Henan Province administrative division NAME field has corresponding statistical values for areas, quantities and other elements (Note: the area unit here is the default are acre) , you can finally make the corresponding conversion according to your needs)
The operation is the same for other land use types, and the zoning area statistics table is derived using the same method.
Here we can first export the attribute table of the administrative division and save it in dBASE format (dbf)
Statistics of zoning area of various land use types completed
Step 3: Convert table to Excel
This operation is performed because exporting the attribute table of each land use type and saving it in dBASE format (dbf) will result in garbled Chinese characters.
Waters for example
Run ArcToolbox, open [Conversion Tool], select [Table to Excel] in [Excel] to bring up the interface, and set parameters. Input table data and select the exported water body partition area table; set the output path in the output Excel file and apply it.
Convert the area statistics table of water areas into Excel
Convert other land use zoning area statistical type tables to Excel
Step 4 Excel Operation
First create a new empty Excel
Open the table and transfer various types of land use area statistics to Excel
Copy the Name field of the administrative division to the new Excel you just created
Copy the Name and Area of the water area (however, some field names do not correspond. This is because there are no features in this area, and you need to manually adjust the position to restore it to the appropriate one)
Display after adjustment
Perform the same operation for other land use types Name and Area tables
Delete redundant fields (the remaining area field is enough, no value means there is no such land use feature in this area)
Calculate total area
To summarize the table of rows, click the Sum function in Excel.
Drag the calculated total area area of the first row to other rows, and the values will be filled in automatically.
Make another copy of the organized data for proportion calculation.
Paste in Excel
Clear the newly pasted values in
Select the first table to calculate the proportion
Formula: area/total area
Calculate the percentage
Calculate comprehensive strength: see home page for assignment
Save combined strength as (only NAME and combined strength statistics required)
Step 5 Data Linking
Open the Henan Province administrative division attribute table and perform the connection operation
Set parameters in the [Connection Data] panel. Select the field in this layer that the connection will be based on as the NAME field of the administrative division; load the comprehensive intensity table we made in the disk load selection; select the field in this table to be the basis for the connection as the NAME field in the comprehensive intensity
Table connection successful
export data. Right-click the connected administrative division data of Henan Province and select [Data]/[Export Data] and save it in Shp format.
Symbolize the calculation of the derived land use comprehensive degree index of Henan Province. Call up the properties of its layer, select [Quantity]/[Grading Color] in [Symbol System], and reclassify it into 5 categories according to different levels for color display.
The sixth step is to make a picture
