3. Purchase and configure Yunyao Cloud Server L instances

4.1 Resource Overview

These include the public network ip of EIP, the HECS L instance, and the cloud disk EVS.

4.2 Pagoda application construction

When we are in the console, we can see the modules built by the application. It is worth mentioning that it is very simple from initializing the environment to building the application, just two steps:

1. set server password
2. Configure Security Group

After completing the above two steps, you can directly experience the out-of-the-box HUAWEI CLOUD Yaoyun Server L instance

4.2.1 Reset Password

After clicking ...the button first, click 重置密码.

Enter the new password and confirm the password on the reset password page

There is a default check option on the reset password page. The running cloud server needs to be restarted and the new password will take effect, so
if your server is running and you need to change the password, if it does not affect the business, you can directly Check Restart, if you need to restart at a custom time, then you need to uncheck this option.

Note: If the following prompt appears, it proves that sensitive operations require authentication, and you need to go to the remote login page to change the password.

Operation protection has been turned on, and authentication is required for sensitive operations.
Suggestion: Click "Remote Login" and "Reset Password" in the operation area on the right side of the page.

4.2.2 Configuring Security Groups

Enter the Yunyao Cloud Server L instance console, click the Yunyao Cloud Server L instance card to enter the resource page.

Select the "Security Group" tab, click "Add Rule", and according to your own service, you can add the following rule configuration.

4.2.3 Verify login pagoda page

After several steps of the above configuration, the installation of the pagoda has been completed. It can be seen that the out-of-the-box service is very simple and convenient when selecting the application image in the HUAWEI CLOUD Yunyaoyun server L instance.

(1) Visit and log in to the pagoda

The default address of the pagoda is: http://弹性ip:8888/login. If there is no problem with the configured security group, after directly accessing the pagoda link, the login page as shown in the figure below will be displayed.

When you visit the Pagoda page for the first time, the login user name and password will normally appear. After the access is successful, the Pagoda console page will appear, as shown in the following figure:

If you do not see the username and password for the first time, you can use SSH to connect to the HUAWEI CLOUD Yunyaoyun Server L instance, and then follow the steps below to check or modify the default username and password.

(2) View the default password of the pagoda

Execute the following command to view the default login account and password of the pagoda:
