The theme of this Twitter Space revolves around "Venture Capital's Vision on Encryption Technology". For many, especially the typical Web2 user, entering the Web3 world will require a giant leap. Recently, the term Web2.5 has been circulating, and we discussed it in detail in the meeting. Generally speaking, Web2.5 uses some major solutions of Web3 to improve the existing basic framework of Web2 through a compromise method.
Another point of discussion is that if the Metaverse and its corresponding dApps are to compete with the existing functional Web2, they will need a powerful, flexible and interoperable base layer. This is where ICPLAZA comes into play. At present, we are trying to combine the resources needed by the market to improve the metaverse-related protocols, using such things as transaction finality, the ability to communicate with different network hosts, distributed computing, on-chain storage, and identity and encryption technologies such as ZK and DID to improve the integration and adoption of the Metaverse.

The two main aspects of this space are undoubtedly Decentralized Identity (DID) and ZK-rollup technology, which are closely related to blockchain technology, especially metaverse applications, let us see how these technologies work .
DIDs return control of digital identities to the individuals and organizations that hold those identities, and allow users to create unique identifiers linked to cryptographic keys without relying on any third-party authority to verify identities. These keys also verify and authorize transactions while being stored on the blockchain.
DID is very important in creating a decentralized metaverse, which can ensure that user information and transactions are more secure and transparent, thereby enhancing trust and cooperation among users, and creating a more dynamic and attractive virtual world. Additionally, the decentralized nature of the Metaverse helps prevent censorship and increases freedom.
ZK-rollup is a second-layer scaling solution for blockchains that allows multiple transactions to be compressed and processed in a single batch. This can significantly increase the efficiency of blockchain transactions and reduce transaction fees. In the application of Metaverse, ZK-rollup can solve the scalability problem when a large number of users interact and exchange assets in real time, improve the overall transaction throughput and reduce latency.
In addition to improving scalability, ZK-rollup also protects user assets through anti-fraud, enhancing privacy and security in the Metaverse, thereby creating a more efficient, secure and user-friendly virtual world.
