At the 2023 International Conference on Document Analysis and Recognition (ICDAR 2023), which is being held in San Jose, California, USA, the 2025 International Conference on Document Analysis and Recognition (ICDAR 2025) will be held at Held in Wuhan, China . This is the most important professional academic conference in the field of international document analysis and recognition and character recognition, which will be held in China again after the International Document Analysis and Recognition Conference held in Beijing, China in 2011.
It is reported that the ICDAR 2025 Organizing Committee will be composed of researcher Liu Chenglin from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences/ Professor Bai Xiang from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, program chairmen such as Professor Yin Xucheng from Beijing University of Science and Technology, and relevant experts and scholars in the field to jointly prepare and organize this conference . Huazhong University of Science and Technology, the Document Image Analysis and Recognition Committee of the Chinese Society of Image and Graphics, the Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence Committee of the Chinese Automation Society, and the Pattern Recognition Committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence and other domestic units, societies/committees Co-host/participate/support.
The International Conference on Document Analysis and Recognition (ICDAR) is one of the world's most important international academic conferences in the field of document analysis and recognition and pattern recognition organized by the International Association of Pattern Recognition (IAPR). From the beginning to this year (2023), seventeen sessions have been successfully held.
