Recommended book "This is Chatgpt"

The Turing community has released a new book, which is still related to Chatgpt, and it was written by Wolfram, the inventor of Mathematica. As a person who is more concerned about new technologies, I immediately bought a copy and planned to try something new.

At the beginning, I was a little nervous, because although I am also a technical person, I have also been engaged in NLP for a period of time, but I don't intend to understand the principle of chatgpt word by word, just take a look. Because if it is too deep, not only will it involve many new terms and new calculations, but it will also be very burdensome psychologically. If you can't treat this book as a "leisure book" for popular science, the effect of learning will be greatly reduced. As a programmer, I hope to understand how such a system is realized, what changes it can bring to life, and what we can do with it.

But when I actually read it, I really felt that this book was very different from other books on the market. This is a popular science book written from the perspective of a technician. It gives a relatively clear definition of chatgpt from the perspectives of design, process, meaning, and future, and accurately answers the questions I raised. Other books may want to introduce the "How", but this book is mainly focused on the "Why" and "What". Sometimes, knowing the boundaries is more important than actually implementing them. After reading this book, I can better understand what I can do through gpt, rather than what kind of prompt should be entered to be more effective. This is very precious for a person who wants to start a business and do something interesting. It can only be said that it is worth it!

However, there is still a pity that the introduction of the linkage part of chatgpt only introduces the collocation and cooperation with Wolfram-related languages, and other linkages have to be discovered by readers themselves.

This is an effective, entertaining, in-depth, and promising book. People's longing for the future and entrepreneurial ambitions are flourishing at this moment, and they are released like birds.
