foreword

Here we introduce how to access the intranet IIS website server from the public network through intranet penetration.

As we all know, it is basically not assigned to the public network IP now, and it is generally the internal network IP. In the absence of a public network IP, if you want to access the local IIS website server from the public network, you usually need to penetrate through the intranet.

There are many intranet penetration tools on the market, but some of them limit traffic or pay for it... Here is one recommended内网穿透工具——cpolar

  • Support permanent free use
  • Unlimited traffic
  • Support http/https/tcp protocol
  • No need for public IP, no need to enter router configuration

The use of cpolar is also simple. You only need to install and configure the client, and you can map the internal network port to the public network and generate a public network address for access. For example, map port 80 of the local intranet (the default installed IIS port is 80) to the public network:

1. Register and install cpolar

cpolar official website: https://www.cpolar.com/

Directly download the client to the local, after decompression, double-click the installation package and install it by default.

2. Create a tunnel map

Browser access: http://localhost:9200/ , log in to the cpolar web UI management interface, click on the left dashboard - Tunnel Management - Create Tunnel

  • Tunnel name: custom
  • protocol: http
  • Local address: 80 (IIS default port: 80)
  • Domain name type: free users choose random domain names, paid users can set fixed domain name addresses
  • Region: Choose China or China VIP

3. Obtain the public network address

After the tunnel is created successfully, the corresponding public network address will be automatically generated. If you access this address in the external network environment, you can normally access the IIS in the internal network.

It should be noted that the public network address generated by using free cpolar is a random temporary address, which will change within 24 hours, which is completely sufficient for daily test development, but if long-term access is required, it is recommended to configure a fixed public network address for it. At the same time, bandwidth is increased to achieve smoother access.
