The function of a virtual private network (VPN) is to establish a private network on a public network for encrypted communication. It is widely used in enterprise network. The VPN gateway realizes remote access by encrypting the data packet and converting the destination address of the data packet. VPN can be realized by server, hardware, software and other ways.
To remove a VPN on Windows:
1. Click "Start" and then enter "Control Panel".
2. Find "Network and Sharing Center" in "Control Panel", and click "Change adapter settings".
3. In the Adapter Settings window, right-click the VPN connection you want to delete, and then click Delete.
4. Confirm the deletion operation, and finally restart the computer to complete the deletion of VPN.
