Mitnick was born in the United States on August 6, 1963. He showed talent in computers at a very young age. Mitnick, who was still in elementary school, used a computer in a community school to successfully hack into the network systems of other schools. , and finally had to drop out of school because of this. After dropping out of school, Mitnick did not stop learning technology. With the improvement of his ability, at the age of 16, he used social engineering to crack the password of the Pacific Telecom Company and changed the phone numbers of tens of thousands of American families in the pay phone system. The tracking machine tracked and arrested him and became the world's first cyber juvenile offender.

After he was released from prison, he revised many of the company's financial statements, which led to his arrest and imprisonment for another year.

Since then, Mitnick has continued to "commit crimes", successfully hacking into the computers of companies such as Nokia, Motorola, Sunrise, and Fujitsu, and stealing important corporate data. The FBI once counted that he caused losses of up to 400 million US dollars to these companies.

After several experiences, Mitnick decided to wash his hands and began to give lectures on network security around the world, and eventually became a well-known network security consultant in the industry. He also published "The Art of Anti-Deception", "Anti-Intrusion Art", "Online Ghost: The Autobiography of the World's Number One Hacker Mitnick" and other books.
