Programmers with a college degree must do two things if they want to win the interview

Also as a junior college student, I feel the same way.

It has become very difficult for professional programmers to find a job, and they need to compete with many classmates who graduated from big factories.

These newly graduated students have good academic qualifications and beautiful experience in large factories.

So as professional programmers, how should we win and get job opportunities?

According to my experience, the following two points will definitely bring you more opportunities.

One is to learn English well

The other is to build your own project products or participate in well-known open source projects

learn English well

It is no exaggeration to say that learning English well can double your monthly salary.

In terms of the domestic environment, there are not many programmers who are good at English, especially in the front-end position.

One step ahead, poor information

First of all, good English means that the speed of obtaining productivity information will be faster than others

Many technical first-hand materials are in English, and the latest information is also in English.

When you can understand English directly, you can be one step ahead

Don't underestimate this information gap. Using this information gap can easily earn personal influence

In fact, I made it after quickly reading the corresponding documents and materials after vue3.3 was just released.

Avoid the pit of second-hand information

Secondly, if you understand the first-hand information, you can avoid looking at some second-hand information.

Second-hand materials generally refer to materials that have been translated by others or written based on other people's understanding.

And these data will inevitably have some small discrepancies and problems

For example, a common scenario is that the primary data is updated but the secondary data is not updated synchronously.

Many of them are not updated in time, English documents and Chinese documents are not synchronized

Furthermore, the technical atmosphere in foreign communities will be better

不管是在 github 上还是在 stackoverflow 上

但是你要提问或者讨论问题的话是必须要使用英文的因为英文是通用语言

尤其是当你面对的问题没有现成答案时就需要在社区提问寻求帮助

比如当你使用 vue3 的时候遇到了问题或者 bug 在你自己解决不了的前提下

你就需要去 repo 上提 issue 和维护者直接沟通

构建自己的项目和产品

另外一个就是构建自己的项目和产品在或者是参与到知名的开源项目中去了

这个点的本质其实就是秀肌肉

你得让企业知道你是有能力的是可以胜任岗位要求的

企业为什么要看学历

这里我们不妨换个角度思考如果你是企业招聘方的话你会给你发 offer 嘛？

企业招聘是要花费很大的成本的如果找错了一个人成本会更大

而且在面试短短的几个小时内也不太可能了解你的全部

所以为了降低这个成本最好的方式就是基于学历先筛选一遍

毕竟学历这东西是代表着你前 20 年的成绩

而且大概率上学历越高学习能力越强

所以学历就是你的肌肉

而对于专科程序员来讲你这完全没的秀并且还是一个减分的点

所以到这里咱就能明白为什么大多数企业直接不看专科程序员的简历了吧

请秀出你的肌肉

问题找到了其实解决思路就有了

你是要看我的肌肉是吧？

那学历这块肌肉我不发达但是我有其他发达的肌肉呀这就是个人项目

把个人项目展示给企业看一样可以证明我是有能力的我的学习能力也是很强的

毕竟企业找程序员为了就是构建程序你看我已经构建出来了这其实就是更好的秀肌肉

参与到知名的开源项目中去也是一样的道理你看我在这么一个大型的项目中做到了核心维护者间接的证明了我也是非常有能力的

所以我们只要能证明自己是有能力的就可以了

招聘沟通话术技巧

不过国内的招聘环境是很多 hr 不懂技术

看到你是专科学历就会直接 pass 了

这时候就需要有一些沟通上的技巧了

比如在 BOSS 上给企业发消息的时候可以直接带上项目地址

并告知这是自己做的项目和贵司要求的技术能力非常的匹配你们可以看一看

这个话术也是经过我无数次的面试经验得来的

在最初的时候我的做法是群发简历用系统自带打招呼的话术

结果就是回复的寥寥无几尤其是很多大厂都是已读不回

后来我想明白了 “企业为什么会招我” 这个问题后，开始懂得要把肌肉秀出来这个点

于是我把打招呼的话术一改

“你好这是我做的项目：（项目地址）

是一个重度的前端项目

和贵公司的招聘要求非常的符合

你可以打开看看

感兴趣的话我们可以详聊 ”

随后的结果也非常的明显百分之 90 的面试官都会回复

其中也包括 hr 虽说大部分的 hr 看不懂项目的技术

但是她能看明白项目的功能通常都会把项目地址交给技术负责人去看

招人毕竟是她们的 KPI

所以请把自己的肌肉秀出来让企业知道你是有能力胜任岗位的

不要吊死在一棵树上

当然不排除有的公司硬性要求专科程序员就是不行不管能力有多强

遇到这种公司的话确实没有办法

但是咱也没必要在一棵树上吊死这家不行就换一家呗
