Precautions

Personal feeling:
1. The journal has strict requirements on the format of manuscripts. Those who intend to contribute must follow the required format.
2. The abstract is very important, so write it according to the requirements.
3. The format requirements for references are also very strict, you must follow the requirements, otherwise the responsible editor will ask you to change it over and over again (crying, I changed it three or four times!!!)

common problem

1. How many external audit experts are there?
   Ans: I have two external audit experts. They are sent for review separately, not at the same time! The revision opinion of the first external reviewer is returned, the author revises, uploads the revised draft after revision, and the revised draft is approved, the responsible editor will send the revised draft to the second external reviewer.

2. Approximate time from submission to acceptance?
   Ans: If there is no major problem with the format, it will take about two months on average. There is also more than a month (provided that the external review experts and responsible editors are very good, and there is no problem with their own format).

3. What drawing software do you use?
   Ans: I draw a lot of flowcharts, so I use Visio. If it is not Visio, the responsible editor may notify the revision.

4. About the fund [2023.01.06 Supplement]
   Ans: When I submitted the article, it was not linked to the fund. However, as far as I know, most of the Chinese core journals will give priority to admitting funded articles with the same quality, and some of them will also look at the degree of the first author. (I heard: "Computer Application" is slightly better in terms of funds)

5. In the first external review, within a few days, I returned to the editor in charge and had another external review. Am I going to be rejected? [2023.07.05 Supplement]
   Ans: It may be that the first reviewer is not in the same research direction as your article, so it will be returned to the editor in charge, and the editor in charge will find an external reviewer for re-examination.
