On the basis of the original mechanical hard disk, install the solid state hard disk and install the operating system

1. Install a solid-state hard drive
insert image description here
My computer comes with a mechanical hard drive (that is, the white rectangle on the right with something like tinfoil on it), and the smooth square on the left is a memory stick, which can be disassembled The cover is installed, and our SSD is installed in this rectangular place in the lower left corner.
Align the card slot for installation, fix the screws, and pay attention to ensure that the computer system is compatible with your solid-state disk model before installation. (Before installation, in order to ensure the safety of the circuit, you can also unplug the power cord of the motherboard. I didn’t unplug it here, it’s okay)

2. Install winpe
When we install the disk, restart the computer, theoretically there will be an unpartitioned disk.
At this time, prepare a USB flash drive and install winpe. Note that the USB flash drive will be formatted at this time, so please prepare an empty USB flash drive!

Enter the official website of Weipe https://www.wepe.com.cn/
insert image description here
and click to download, select a version after 2.0, and I choose the 63-bit download of v2.1 here.
insert image description here
After the download is complete, click the USB disk icon in the lower right corner to enter the installation USB disk interface. To check whether the USB flash drive is your own USB flash drive, you can change the volume label of the USB flash drive to "micro pe toolbox", tick the two boxes as shown in the figure, and click to install to the USB flash drive. The USB flash drive will be formatted later, please back up important data on the USB flash drive in time! ! !

After the installation is complete, there are two areas (one is blank and the other is more than 90 mb)
insert image description here

After that, download the image iso of win10
insert image description here
and click the download tool immediately, then click the installer, select the iso file,
insert image description here
then you will get a win10 installation package in the download path, there is no need to decompress it here, just move to the blank partition of the USB disk above.

If the download of images such as win10 is too slow, you can go to the msdn official website to download.

3. Afterwards, restart the computer, press f2 or delete or f12 frantically when the computer model icon first appears
(each computer has different shortcut keys), enter the bios interface, move the right arrow on the keyboard to boot, and move the down arrow to efi Click on the option with usb (if there are two usb options, choose the first one), then press f6 to set it to the top, f10 to save and exit, click enter to confirm, the system restarts, load the winpe of the usb disk, and enter the winpe interface.

The bios is roughly as follows (the picture and text have nothing to do)

insert image description here
Note; uefi is for gpt format, legacy is for mbr format.

4. Enter the winpe interface
and click diskgenius. If you have a mechanical disk and a fixed disk, you will see three disks, namely HD0, HD1, and U disk.
Many people here will say to format the original hdo disk (that is, my limit HDD), I didn't do that, I kept it.
First, convert the partition table type of the solid state drive from mbr to gpt format;
then directly on the hd1 disk, right-click, create a new partition, and create two partitions by default, one system partition e disk (preferably for more than 80g of memory), and the rest Partition the software on disk f. The names are default and do not need to be changed.
Note that the solid-state drive also needs to choose 4k alignment, and 2048 is also 4k alignment, and I choose 2048 here.

This is what the partition looks like:

insert image description here

Find the image downloaded from the previous u disk, click to load,

insert image description here
Click on setup.exe to install the program. You can install the mirror image.

insert image description here
Next step along the way, choose custom here.
insert image description here
If you are also a mechanical hard disk and a solid-state hard disk, then two types of drives should be displayed here, drive 0 and drive 1. We choose the system partition under drive 1, and click Next to automatically install the win10 system. . If it is successful, it will automatically restart two or three times (after the installation is successful, you can unplug the USB disk before restarting), do not touch anything during this period, and you can enter the win10 system, and you're done.
insert image description here

but! When you click Next, the error "We were unable to create a new partition and cannot find an existing one" appears.
insert image description here
Please exit the installation and plug in directly x. Then go to the place in the picture below, ① delete the esp partition of the solid-state disk first, there is nothing in it, and it may conflict during installation.
insert image description here
② Then in the driver folder we downloaded, copy three files (boot folder, sources folder, bootmgr folder) to the blank partition of the solid-state disk (that is, the 80g system partition obtained by our new partition).
insert image description here
Finally, go back to the setup.exe program and go to the next step, waiting for the win10 image to be installed in the solid state drive. If you still can't find it, restart the computer, enter winpe and try again, and the win10 image should be installed.

5. Enter the win10 image, which is a pure version. Nothing but trash cans and browsers. You can set it with the right mouse button, click the theme, scroll down to find the desktop icon setting, check the computer, control panel, etc. This computer will appear.
If you want to install the Office Family Bucket on the new system, log in to your microsoft account, and there will be an installation package (of course, your computer is a genuine version, which is bound when it comes out), which will never disappear.
insert image description here

In this way, when booting, there may be two win10 systems with different volumes. We choose the volume corresponding to our solid state drive (generally the one with the larger serial number), and then we can enter this new system.
In this way, formatting the original c drive is avoided, which is equivalent to having a dual system, one mechanical hard disk and one solid-state hard disk.

Finally, I want to say that after changing the system to a solid state and adding a memory stick, the computer really flies! ! !
Sure enough, the medicine can cure the disease.
above.
