After using Chrome for Mac for a while, it grew exponentially in size.
This is caused by the version update. The Chrome browser has always been updated. After the update, the old version folder will not be deleted, so the size is getting bigger and bigger.
In Mac, it is also possible to delete the old version.
Solution
First right-click Chrome - Options - Display in Finder, find Google Chrome, then right-click, select "Show Package Contents", and you will find many folders under the path /Contents/Frameworks/Google\ Chrome\ Framework.framework/Versions , look at the version of your Chrome browser, and delete all other folders.
Now my Chrome version is 87.0.4280.88, the location of the Versions folder may be different in different versions.
