Sui Builder House Kyoto Station was successfully concluded on June 30th (Friday), which is a good opportunity for Sui Ecosystem Project Demonstration and showcase their respective products. Builders showcased games, NFTs, DeFi, and infrastructure track projects, while live presentations also introduced Sui's latest developments and discussions on AI and user experience design.
The Sui Builder House Kyoto Station was held at the ACE Hotel. The two-day event (June 29-June 30) ushered in the participation of Sui communities and builders from various regions in Japan. In addition to the rich speeches and workshops, the participants also conducted more in-depth communication and exchanges in the evening exchange meeting.

At the opening of the event, Adeniyi Abiodun , co-founder and CPO of Mysten Labs , delivered a keynote speech, talking about the evolution of blockchain technology and the recent progress of the Sui network. Adeniyi looked back at the early days of blockchain, which created digital money, the concept of cryptocurrencies. This early network allowed people to trade cryptocurrencies. With the development of blockchain in the past five years, the emergence of smart contracts has made it possible for not only people, but also programs to conduct monetary transactions. Now we have the next technological innovation, and Sui embodies the evolution of this technology, which is to change the technology from account-based storage to object-based storage, which creates a new paradigm and possibility.
Adeniyi reveals Sui's first month stats
The Sui network has been operating as a completely permissionless public network for over a month (as of the time of the presentation). During this period, the Sui network has almost one million active accounts and is still growing rapidly, which proves that the Sui network is an efficient and high-performance network. As a point of reference, Adeniyi pointed out that the cost to mint one million NFTs on Sui is just $6,600, compared to $253,000 on Solana and $33,000,000 on Ethereum .
During the keynote, Adeniyi also announced upcoming exciting new features, including DeepBook as its first native liquidity layer, and liquidity staking, which allows stakers to continue using their staked funds, among others.
Web3 Project Showcase
Aware of the potential and economic opportunities of the next-generation Web3 technology, Alibaba also sent representatives to demonstrate and conduct a workshop on the company's cloud services. Alibaba's Web3 cloud service currently provides hosting services for validators, utilizing its cloud technology for powerful transaction processing.
Alibaba previously announced that it will launch its blockchain node service, which aims to provide fast and efficient API call services.

On infrastructure issues, a group composed of project leaders from Typus Finance , Notifi , and Movement Labs discussed Sui's core elements and user experience-related technologies at Builder House, and shared their important insights on this point of view.
Joi Ito and Alex Shin provide some insightful commentary in a technical discussion of this important trend at the intersection of AI and blockchain . Joi is an experienced technologist who has studied Web3 in depth for the past few years and founded the " Center for Radical Transformation " at Chiba Institute of Technology, Chiba Institute of Technology . Alex Shin founded Shinlabs and is very active in the Web3 industry, often speaking at international conferences.
