XPilot Safety active safety system

1. Forward Collision Prevention

- Product definition

    Based on the perception ability of the vehicle's forward vision module and the front millimeter-wave radar, vehicles and VRUs (vulnerable road users) in the fan-shaped area in front of the vehicle may collide with the running route of the vehicle, and provide early warning, collision damage reduction or collision A series of security feedbacks to avoid;

- Function description (FCW and AEB part)

    When the system detects that the vehicle may have a frontal collision with other vehicles or VRU, the forward collision prevention system will prompt the driver to actively take measures to avoid it through visual, auditory and tactile feedback. If the driver does not respond or the possibility of a collision is imminent, the system will intervene in braking to avoid a forward collision or reduce the damage of the collision.

    Through the forward visual perception module and the millimeter-wave radar, the safety distance is calculated with reference to the relative speed of the current vehicle and the target, and the distance to the target. When the distance triggers the safety distance threshold, FCW is activated. When the risk of collision is further When it increases, the AEB system intervenes;

    During the whole process of the forward collision prevention system, if the collision risk is eliminated, such as the front collision risk object disappears, or is currently within a safe distance, the system will automatically exit the intervention.
