However, the growth and development of every open source community from 0 to 1, from 1 to 100, is full of great challenges. According to Github's annual statistics, Chinese developers account for more than 7 million developers, and the base of users is far greater than the number of contributors. What hindered everyone's enthusiasm for participation?

We think there should be all these factors. Perhaps, we can't help you solve the time problem, but we can help more people reduce the threshold of open source participation to zero, and provide you with some material incentives within your ability to contribute to open source.
Therefore, when the "Open Source Star Reaching Project" competition was halfway through, we launched the "Lend me an hour to participate in open source with 1,000 people" campaign. By launching 4 issues of open source knowledge popularization + time-limited activities, we tried to achieve "everyone can Participate in open source". These 4 basic science popularization activities are mainly aimed at these groups of people:

4 phases of popular science + practical activities
In the open source community, Issue and Pull Request are the most basic operations. Therefore, our science popularization plan starts with these items:
*Science popularization series are output in the form of text, video, live broadcast, etc.
At the same time, open source pays attention to practical operation, just as it is definitely not enough to go to class without practice. Therefore, on the basis of each science popularization, we also cooperate with technical communities such as Gitee and Nuggets to jointly carry out actual combat + selection. It allows you to watch the live broadcast/text tutorial, open the browser to enter the open source code warehouse, and start coding and raising PR directly.
All partners who participate in the 4 phases of actual combat activities will have the opportunity to obtain:
