Download Unity Hub
The role of the Hub is to facilitate the management of different versions of Unity and projects.

The downloaded Unity Hub may be in English, and the language can be changed if necessary.
Download Unity
Run Unity Hub, click Sign inLogin account.

In addition to downloading Unity in the Hub, you can also download and install it locally through the official website, and then Unity.exeimport different versions of Unity into the Hub for unified management by selecting the location of the file.
get a license
There are several types of Unity licenses. Generally, we can use the personal version for free.
Generally, the personal free version license has a time limit, but it can be added repeatedly. Once it expires, it can be added again.
Run the Unity project
After Unity is successfully installed, a shortcut will be generated on the desktop.
Double click to run. Then, then, you realize that nothing happened. . . Yes, you must first create a new project in the Hub before you can open Unity.
Simply configure and click 创建项目. Then the following window pops up ( PlasticSCM is the version control system of the Unity project, and its function is somewhat similar to Git), just confirm the installation directly.
Then start to download PlasticSCM, and then click Install after the download is complete (the default is to install on the C drive, it is recommended to manually install and change the installation path).

Tips
- Remember to delete the installation package downloaded by Unity Hub, it still takes up a lot of space. The default download location
C:\Users\用户名\AppData\Local\Tempis below , just delete all the files in the Temp directory. - When you create and open a new project for the first time, you will be prompted whether to enter safe mode. If you ignore it, after entering Unity, the console will output an error message. But after restarting the computer, the error is no longer reported.
