1. Why can some users only open up to 6 screens when using multi-screen playback?
This is a problem with the certificate and the protocol. The HTTP-FLV protocol only supports simultaneous playback of 6 screens. If the user needs to play multiple screens, the playback protocol can be adjusted to WS-FLV, WebRTC, and HLS, or an HTTPS certificate can be configured.
After configuration, both 9-split and 16-split playback can be satisfied.
2. Video encoding format problem
Common video encoding formats are H.264 and H.265. H.264 is hard decoding, which takes up server performance, while H.265 is soft decoding, which takes up browser performance. Generally speaking. The performance of the browser is not very powerful, so when playing on multiple screens, it is better to use the H.264 encoding format as much as possible.
Users can turn on transcoding in the configuration center of the EasyCVR platform to convert H.265 to H.264, which consumes the performance of the server, and the multi-screen playback will be smoother.
