ESXi installation Windows10 steps:
1. First click [Storage], then click [Data Storage Browser]
2. Click [Upload] to upload the ISO image file of Windows 10 we downloaded
After selecting the file, the upload progress will be displayed in the upper right corner. If the file is large, wait patiently for the upload to complete!
3. Open the ESXi management terminal, click [Virtual Machine] and then click [Create/Register Virtual Machine] to create a virtual machine
4. After choosing to create a virtual machine - click [Next]
5. Here, you can enter a name at will, and then select [Windows] for the client operating system series and [Microsoft windos 10 (64) bit] for the client operating system version, and click [Next] after selection
6. Select the storage device, that is, continue to click [Next]
7. Set the size of the Windows 10 system disk, here I set it to 50G
8. Select the data storage ISO file in [CD/DVD drive], which is the Windows 10 image ISO file we just uploaded
9. After configuring the disk and ISO image file, click [Finish] directly
10. Select the virtual machine just created, click [Power on] to start
11. After starting, a prompt will appear on the screen, press any key to enter CDorDVD boot, at this time we need to press any key to enter the boot installation
12. After entering the installation program, click [Next]
13. Click [Install Now]
14. Select Windows 10 Professional Edition and click [Next]
15. Check I accept the license and click [Next]
16. Click [Custom: Install Windows only]
17. After selecting the default drive, click [Next] directly
18. Wait patiently for the installation to complete, it will automatically restart after the installation is complete
19. At this point, our Windows 10 system has been installed, and the system information can be used normally after simple configuration
20. After entering the system, let's install Vmtools again, click [Operation] in the upper right corner to select the guest operating system - install VMware Tools
21. Open the resource manager, and then click [This Computer]
22. Double-click the Vmware Tool installer to install
