1. Environment and tools preparation

2. AD domain server installation

1.  Windows Server 2016  system installation
    

   

   Install the Windows Server 2016 image directly with VMware

2. IP address fixed, computer name changed
    

   

   Fixed an IP address (it is best to cancel IPv6, it may affect the client to join the domain)

3.    Install Domain Services

You can change the location of the database folder, and you can go to the next step by default

After the prerequisite check is passed, click Install directly, and it will automatically restart after the installation is complete (the prerequisite warning can be ignored).

At this point, the domain server installation and configuration are complete!

 3. Create departments and users

Open AD Users and Computers

 

Add organizational units under the root domain name

 

Enter a name, the company name

 

Create an organizational unit or department name under the company name

 

Create a new user under the department

 

Enter the user name and user login name and click Next

 

Enter the user password, click Next, and create a new user.

 4. Client domain addition
 

(Prepare a client, just install win10 on the virtual machine for testing)

Enter the domain account administrator account password

 

The domain addition is successful, restart the computer to log in to the domain account
