Learn more about LiveVideoStackCon2023 Shanghai

About a month ago, I had the honor to participate in the first SRS Offline Developer Salon (Beijing) organized by Yang Jiancheng, where old friends got together and talked happily. Unknowingly, however, SRS has been born for ten years, and I have known Yang Jiancheng for six years. I still remember the scene of LiveVideoStack's first salon, and Yang Chengli was there. An open source project can continue to develop for ten years, which in itself is a remarkable thing. Under the advocacy of capital and policies, various open source projects and open source foundations have sprung up. From the perspective of the development of the times, this proves that open source is being valued more and more by the society, but I want to say that a healthy project is a project that can be devoted to and continuously invested in. This is an important reason why I am optimistic about SRS. If you don't know what SRS is, you can visit https://ossrs.net/ here.

In the past six years, although Yang Chengli has been invited many times to come to LiveVideoStack to exchange output topics and talk about his SRS. But basically he declined. When the time comes to 2023, we can finally understand SRS in a more comprehensive way—the ten-year technology sharing series of SRS will be launched one after another. You can hear the thinking behind the ten-year hard work of the SRS author and the future development direction of the project , the way of implementation, and the various needs of various industries and scenarios. Of course, what is more important is to "listen to the voices of SRS users (in person)", Yang Chengli told me, "Many users want to know whether their way of using SRS is right or not."

In ten years, SRS has developed from a core contributor with only Yang to a community with 10 TOC members, hundreds of contributors, and thousands of developers around the world.
