Why I don't like dotNET programmers

It's actually very simple, because they think they are dotNET programmers.

Of course I admit that programming languages are so important that some programming language communities develop a special atmosphere, typically the CPP community. The corresponding Microsoft community also has strong cohesion.

But there's a big problem with the Microsoft community, especially the dotNET community, and it's always been there. People in this community have always been very rigid, and they have always followed Microsoft, without much enthusiasm for open source, design, structure, and so on. Obviously, this statement is a bit of a generalization, but on the whole, there is indeed this trend.

On the one hand, just yesterday, Microsoft's solution was the official language of instruction in various schools. And what the consequences are, we all know. On the other hand, the teaching programs faced by students in schools are also a problem. Everyone should understand what I'm talking about here.

Therefore, these people are determined as soon as they leave the school. Their knowledge is very short, their abilities are highly restricted, and their way of thinking is also very restricted.

However, I'm not here to speak ill of dotNET programmers, because they rarely appear around me, I'm talking about these students who are still in school today. Because today's official language has become java, and it's just that companies like Microsoft have been replaced by many committees and open source communities. In fact, the soup is not changed.

Of course, I don't deny anyone's ability and future. I just mean that I don't think school is the right place to train programmers, let alone cultivate accomplished programmers. And in order to cultivate them, I have to do some anti-brainwashing work. To be honest, today I would rather find a student who has no practical application, such as scheme or prolog, and guide them myself; rather than give me a rigid dotNET or java product.
