The configuration method is as follows
1) In the automatic prompt
Window->Preferences->Java->Editor->Content Assist->Auto Activation in the java file, replace the value of Auto activation triggers for Java from "." to ".abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz(,"
2) Auto-prompt
Window->Preferences->XML->XML Files->Editor->Content Assist->Auto Activation in the xml file, replace the value of Prompt when these characters are inserted from "<=:" to " .abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz(,".
Note: If the configuration is successful, but there is still no automatic prompt after pressing the shortcut key "alt+/" after the unfinished code in java, then check whether the following options are ticked:
Window->Preferences->Java-> Editor->Content Assist->Advance, check the option "Java Proposals". The
shortcut key "alt+/" is configured in:
Window->Preferences->General->Key: Enter Content Assist in the first text box .
