I think the interview

        I participated in an interview recently, and I haven’t been interviewed for a long time. Such a sudden interview will naturally make a little thought in my heart in advance, unlike when I just graduated, I will do some technical homework according to the content of the position. Those who are familiar will check the principles, memorize some thoughts, and then study the content of one side in depth, even if they do not know the technology, they should also look at it to understand what they are doing and what problems can be solved. The depth is also involved, and the interview success rate is naturally higher. Of course, this is no secret. If you think about it carefully, you can think of this.

       But after working for so many years, while I am in awe of technology, I often find that the ability to solve problems is more important than the technology itself. I have interviewed others and have worked with many people who have been interviewed together. Sometimes I find that in the same There is a big gap in the technical level (the ability to use technology to solve project problems) at different levels, and there are many interviews that were not found during the interview process, and then I was thinking, why is this happening? Of course, the interviewers are not professional investigators. Most interviewers are people who can do technology in the company. Their interest in technology is far greater than the interview itself. If you are in the interview process, a certain interview The depth of a certain technology is very suitable for this technical interviewer, then OK, you have won the lottery. They are also reluctant to set a scene based on your resume for you to describe how this problem was solved. After all, it requires an understanding of the items in the resume and the overall strength of the interviewer. Obviously a lot of interviewers are too busy to do this, and oftentimes, these interviewers are called in on a whim while meeting with team members or writing code.

       Well, thinking about how to be a qualified interviewer, I will consider the following.

       1. Fully understand the status quo and development direction of the position.

First of all, it is necessary to understand what level of position this position is, what to do when recruited, and what to do in the future, whether the development direction is a single continuous in-depth technical aspect, or a horizontal expansion of technology, or some management and coordination aspects. Work.

       2. Only recruit the right people

             Those who do not meet the position will not be recruited;

             If the ability exceeds the position, it will not be recruited, and if it is recruited, it will run away soon;

             For positions that require high learning ability, existing technologies should be partially ignored;

             For positions that require high technical breadth, do not deduct a small technical point during the interview;

             Hiring people with the right personalities, independent of technology, will make it a lot more enjoyable to work with as colleagues.

      3. Look carefully at other people's resumes

            Understand whether others have actually done it, and what kind of work has been done in the project;

            Ask about the things in your resume that you are good at. If you are not good at it, you can ask the other person to tell you about it. It is also good to let go of your posture and learn;

            Come up with a scene based on your resume, let the other party think about it, or discuss it with two people. Even if it is a job, the process of thinking by one person will never be as perfect as the process of thinking by two people, and you will always miss something.

       4. Don’t think of an interview as an interview

              Personally, I feel that the word Interview is translated into interview, which is somewhat inappropriate. Let's see how the English dictionary explains it.

             " a meeting of people face to face especially for consultation

                Look at the Chinese dictionary again,

interview miàn shì
face-to-face exam. "Three Kingdoms, Wei Zhi, Chen Si and Wang Zhi's Biography": "The words are the words, and the writing is completed. Gu Dang is interviewed, but what is the Qianren?" , the emperor took the pen and set it up." The third chapter of "School of Foreign Affairs": "The boy knelt down and said: 'I beg the eldest master for an interview.'"

                totally different.

                First of all, the job interview is not a test, you are choosing others, and others are choosing you.

                Secondly, there is no level of distinction between the interview and being interviewed. Those who are not interviewed will be superior, and then the person being interviewed will have to kneel down to "beg the big man for an interview". There are many people who are more powerful than you.

                If you use a metaphor, it is more like selling vegetables, you value my things, and I also recognize your sincerity, then you can complete a business.

       I thought about these things during the interview, and I was asked about a specific technical point of SSH and Lucene on the spot, which made me a person who does monitoring and virtualization feel embarrassed. What I wrote on my resume is that I know SSH and Lucene, brother, it's tough.

        PS. The interview was fine on the whole, but it didn’t match the job requirements. People mainly use SSH to do some business stuff. Of course, I can only ask about this :).
