【Tutorial for Beginners】Good news_The Earth and the security team can no longer stop us

115 days ago, I made a post:
The ECS website (port 80, port 21, etc.) cannot be accessed from the external network, please check the security group settings

I thought it could help everyone Solve the problem that the external network cannot be accessed due to the security group, but recently it was discovered that some people cannot access the external network due to the problem of the security group. It's my fault that I didn't post the tutorial for VPN security group setup. I had this opportunity today to personally try the security group settings of the VPC, and it was successful. Now I will share my experience with you.

The private network cloud server just purchased cannot be accessed by the external network to common ports such as 80.

So we need to set the security group to allow the security group to release port 80 of the website.

First enter the console, click More at the back of the server, enter the service security group settings,

and then click Configuration Rules

By default, there are usually three configurations, but there is no configuration for port 80, as shown below.

Now we click the quick create rule in the upper right corner to create A rule to release port 80

Since it is a private network, there is no external network setting, so we only need to set the inbound direction of the internal network.
Check the HTTP80 port (if you need to allow other ports, you can set them together, or add a new rule later), and enter 0.0.0.0/0 in the authorization object.

Click the OK button again, heh, heh, heh, the security group has released port 80, and then open the website, you will be pleasantly surprised to find that the website can be opened.

Reminder: VPC does not need to set up external network security group. If you need to open other ports such as 21/443, etc., please add a new security group rule, or just tick it when you just set it.
