  1. Open "Network and Sharing Center" and select "Change advanced sharing settings".

  9. Then we click: Local Policy - Security Options - Network Access: Sharing and Security Model for Local Accounts, and double-click "Network Access: Sharing and Security Model for Local Accounts".

 

  10. In "Network Access: Sharing and Security Model Properties of Local Accounts", select "Guest Only - Authenticate local users as guests", and confirm to exit.

 

  11. Then, find the file or folder that we need to share on the local area network, open the right-click menu and select: Sharing - specific user.

 

  12. Then select "Guest" from the drop-down list, and then click "Share".

 

  13. Here, the Win7 LAN sharing settings are completed.
