Shared folder settings

Create a folder for file sharing and configure it as follows:
 1. Set the folder as a shared folder

Configure Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager

Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Enable or disable Windows features Open Internet Information Services Check FTP and click OK to save

Create an FTP site and configure it

1. Win+s enter IIS search to enter the Internet Information Services (IIS) manager.

2. Right-click to select Add FTP site and enter the FTP name, and specify the previously created shared folder

3. Fill in your own IP address and port number (sometimes it may be occupied)

4. Set access rights and whether authentication is required, After the configuration is complete, click Finish and then select the FTP right-click to start.

5. Enter the IP directly on the device on the same LAN to access the shared folder.

Possible problems and solutions

1. FTP cannot be started. Solution: Close the FTP of the same port and restart it.

2. You need to log in when accessing. Solution: As explained in the shared folder settings above, just add an everyone and check the corresponding permissions.

3. This machine can be accessed but other devices in the same LAN cannot be accessed. Solution: turn off the local firewall.

4. An error is reported when IIS deploys the FTP service: Unless the Microsoft FTP service (FTPSVC) is running, the FTP site cannot be started. Solution: Start Microsoft FTP Service.
