There is no volume icon in Win7 system, the system icon is gray and cannot be opened

After the win7 system is turned on, it is found that the volume icon in the lower right corner of the desktop is gone, and there is no sound. It is good to check the sound card driver. Generally, we can turn on the volume icon from "Turn on and off system icons", but the user enters the settings. When I found that the "Volume" icon was turned on as "gray" and cannot be set, what is the problem?

After checking that there is no error in the driver installation, it is very likely that Explorer.exe in win7 is not started correctly. We only need to restart it again;

operation steps:

1. Right-click on the taskbar, "Start Task Manager" 2. Switch

to "Processes", find Explorer.exe and select "End" process;

3. After finishing, click "File" - "New Task (Run)" - enter "explorer.exe" and press Enter ;

4. Then confirm whether the volume icon appears. After it appears, it may be muted sometimes. We can cancel the mute state.
