Download the Outlook Addin from the C4C system. After installation, you will see a new panel in Outlook:
Click Log On to log in:
If needed, set the proxy in Settings.
After logging in, you can immediately see the notification of the User WANGJERRY1164 in C4C in Outlook:

1. Directly add Outlook emails to C4C business documents
In Outlook's C4C panel, you can directly search for contacts in the C4C system:
Suppose I select the fourth one:
Suppose I select the fourth search result, the contact named Wang Jerry, then I can directly see the Opportunity and Activity information corresponding to this contact in Outlook:
This information also comes from the C4C system:
Emails in outlook can be directly added to C4C business documents by dragging and dropping.
As shown in the figure below, I dragged the email titled "Ticket has been created for you" to the Opportunity of the Outlook C4C panel. Pay attention to the mouse shape in the figure below, indicating that the drag-and-drop operation can be completed.
Once the drag and drop is complete, a pop-up prompt "1 item is being synchronized": an item is being synchronized.
After the synchronization is completed, you can see this email from Outlook in the Opportunity of the C4C system:
2. Create C4C Appointment Appointment directly in Outlook
After maintaining the properties of the appointment, click Add Reference to select which Account the appointment needs to be sent to C4C:
After selecting, click Add reference:
Finally, click submit to submit:
You can see this appointment in the C4C system:
We can also directly forward an email to a C4C contact in Outlook, just select the email and select Add Email from the right-click menu:

By studying the log file, it can be found that the interaction between Outlook and C4C is accomplished by calling the Web Service provided by C4C. For example, if an Account is selected in Outlook,
All Opportunities related to this Account need to be displayed. This data query is completed through C4C's Web service OpportunityByContactPartyQuery_sync. The incoming parameter is C4C Account ID 1000861:
