AD schematic library import 3D model

I wrote an article before that also talked about the 3D model of AD:

introduces the use of AD's own functions to draw 3D models, but it is drawn like this The shape is not very good-looking. If the CAD graphics of the components are imported, the 3D display effect will be better. The following figure shows the components of the 3D model imported into the STEP file:

This is very beautiful. When we finish drawing the PCB, we can use 3D View to visually check whether the placement of the components is correct, and whether there is any horizontal or vertical conflict, which provides a good reference for PCB design and production.
How to make such a 3D model? I don't talk about CAD drawings, so I have to search online. Fortunately, there is a website that provides 3D resources for many components: http://www.3dcontentcentral.cn/default.aspx , you can directly search for the package or name of components, such as :

I searched for the 0805 package, and then I could find a lot of 3D models of 0805. These were made and uploaded by other great people. I will wait and serve. Then select a suitable model to download the STEP file:

when you get the STEP file, you can import it into the package of the component, and place the 3D Body on the package of the component (shortcut PB):

select "Generic 3DModel" and then click " "Load from file" select the downloaded STEP file, click OK and then adjust the position of the 3D Body so that the 3D model and the pads correspond. (Tips: Press number key 2 to switch to 2D display, press number key 3 to switch to 3D display)
Download a few more models to try the effect:
