PowerDesigner reverse engineering import MYSQL database summary
Since PowerDesigner is often used in daily data modeling, using reverse engineering can generate models more quickly and improve efficiency, so the summary is as follows:

1. Install the ODBC driver for MYSQL
Connector/ODBC 5.1.13 download address:
http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/5.1.html
Select the win-64 MIS installation package and install it directly.
2. Configure the OBDC driver connection
Select Control Panel->System and Security->Administrative Tools-->ODBC Data Sources
3. Open PowerDesigner:
1) File -> New New Physical Model
2) Database -> connect to a Data Source
Fill in the basic information
4) Start reverse generation
After confirming, wait for the generation to be fine.
Note: I am using WIN10, and the use of win7 is the same. PowerDesigner is version 16.5
