Linux Soft Links and Hard Links

1. Create a soft link:

ln -s source file object file

2. Create hard links:

    ln source file object file

Similarities and differences between soft links and hard links:

1. A soft link is equivalent to a shortcut under Windows. After the source file is deleted, the soft link cannot be used. Just a symbolic link, so the soft link file size is very small

2. Whether it is a soft link or a hard link, the files are kept synchronized and changed

3. Directories cannot establish hard links, but soft links can be established
