Hard links are different files with the same filename inode number only, so there is a hard link the following characteristics: (1) file has the same text and indoe Block the Data
(2) can only be saved in the file Creating
(3) can not collapse partitions to create hard links
(4) of the directory can not be created, only for file creation
(5) delete a hard link file does not affect other files have the same number of ionde
Different Soft and hard link connection, if the content file is stored in the user data block points to another file path name of the file is changed soft connection. Flexible connection is a normal file, just blocks was sort of special. Soft connection has its own inode number and the user data block, and therefore the creation and use flexible connections are not similar to many restrictions hard links, and its many restrictions, its main features are as follows:
(1) soft connection has its own file attributes and permissions etc.
(2) can not be stored on the file or directory created in the flexible connection
(3) to create a soft link collapse partition
(4) can be connected to create a soft contact file or directory
(5) to create a soft link, the link count does not increase
(6) delete soft link does not affect the file pointed to, but if the point of the original file is deleted, the associated soft links are called dead links, if they are the path to the file is re-created, dead links revert to normal soft links
