The construction of Alibaba Cloud Ecs personal blog

I've always wanted to have a personal blog of my own, and after a lot of hassle, I've finally done it.

Now let me talk about the general process. I am a novice and don't know much. I can write some ideas and have a look.

1. First of all, you need to buy a host. I understand that a host is a place where data can be stored and exchanged. Only with it can others access your blog. (Actually, your own computer can also be used as a host, and you can check Baidu for details.) In my case, I bought the ECS of Alibaba Cloud (the name here is not the host, it is called the instance). I have been certified as a student, so it is very cheap. You can buy it directly, which basically meets the needs of building a blog. If the later configuration is not enough, it can be upgraded. If it is not a direct student certification, you should pay attention to some configuration choices when purchasing. I will give some suggestions. The storage space can be 40G, and the network can choose a dedicated network. The more bandwidth you choose, the more expensive it is. It is recommended to start with a smaller one. , which can be upgraded later. As far as the area is concerned, I think you can choose the one that is closer to you.

2. The next step is to need a domain name. You can also access the host directly with the IP address of the purchased host, but a domain name is more convenient and you must have a domain name if you want others to access your blog. There are many ways to get a domain name, you can buy it or you can register it. I registered directly on Aliyun-related Wanwang. First, go to the Alibaba Cloud homepage http://www.aliyun.com, then select domain name registration, enter the Wanwang page, and first search for the domain name (that is, check the domain name you want to register). Whether it has been registered or exists or not, you need to think about what kind of domain name you want in advance) and then you can follow the steps to choose, buy, and pay. After the domain name is purchased, a resolution is required. The resolution is to put your domain name on the Internet so that others can access your host through it. The parsing step is to enter the Alibaba Cloud console (you will have this after you buy the host) and select the cloud DNS DNS under the domain name and website on the left, find your domain name and add parsing. What you need to change here for parsing is the record value, record Just choose A for the type. The host record is the prefix added when visiting the website. It is best to choose www for easy remembering. The record value is your host IP, just write it directly. Then start parsing, and that's it. (There are some details in the middle that are not listed one by one)

3. Then go to the filing (domestic filing is required), this takes more time and it is best to start early. Ali has a filing area, first apply for a filing service number. Log in to Alibaba Cloud, enter the filing service number application, find your instance, click apply, and go to the filing service number management. The front of your instance ID is your filing service number. If you have it, go directly to the filing area and follow the steps step by step. Steps come. I won’t talk about this, it’s all a routine. It’s okay if there is anything wrong in it. Ali will review it and notify you. I only reviewed it three times, and if you upload a photo, Ali will send you a curtain for free. . (I also saw that you can upload photos with your mobile phone, but I haven't found how to use it. If you are interested, you can try it)

4. It takes a while for filing. First configure your own instance. For student authentication, the system is already installed. If you want to create a blog, you can change the system. First, close the instance and click on the upgrade and configuration on the far right. The following more, choose to replace the system disk, enter the mirror selection page, select the mirror market to enter a page, there are multiple mirrors to choose from. I chose WordPress to build a blog, so just search for WordPress in the search bar and select the appropriate version. Some are free, and some require a fee. You can click to see the introduction of the mirror before deciding. After selecting, just click on the right side to use. After it is installed, you can directly access it with your own instance IP, and then you can follow its requirements step by step. Some things that need to be remembered are still written down. What needs to be said is that different mirrors have different settings. When I started to install a new WordPress update, I needed FTP Ali by default, but I didn’t have it. Just replaced the mirror again and the problem is gone. So if you encounter any problems, you can solve it with Baidu. If it doesn't work, you can change the mirror, because different mirrors have different content and bring different experiences.
