Location: Basement

Main topics:

  1. Share the results of last week's learning;

  2. Determine the general game framework;

  3. Determine the general game script;

  4. Determine the basic development language.

Results of the meeting:

  1. This meeting is chaired by Liu, and all the staff are present. This meeting mainly supplements and expands the meeting that was not present at the previous meeting.

  2. Song shared the preliminary game rules design document, but everyone still thinks it is a bit complicated (:-D). In general, the analysis is suitable for experienced players. If facing the novice, the complexity of the game rules should be reduced. At the same time, considering the difficulty of development, the rules still need to be improved.

  3. Zhang shared the learning experience of the construction method, and wrote some insights, which played a certain enlightening role in the later development. (Also recommend team members to learn MarkDown syntax well :-D).

  4. Feng shared some RPGMakerMV learning materials on the forum, as well as some teaching videos on station B. Everyone said that they should study hard.

  5. Liu simply used RPGMakerMV to build a template map and designed some plots and trigger events, and then explained to everyone the problems he encountered.

  6. Liu shared a very popular video "Dalabang" at station B, and proposed to use it as a script prototype to build a game, which was unanimously approved.

       7. Discuss the general flow of the game together, from entering the game to ending the game.

  8. In order to cooperate with the development of RPGMakerMV, all staff need to learn HTML and JavaScript languages, which are tentatively set as the basic development languages.

Tasks for next week:

  1. Learn the usage of RPGMakerMV game making tool from the information found by Feng (all staff)
