"I am a little IT bird" (continued) reading notes - eighth week

The third author emphasized the importance of planning at the university stage. When the author first entered the university, everything was new and wanted to try, but he lacked a plan for study and life. The result is a decline in academic performance. In fact, the same is true of programming. We often feel the gap between ourselves and those great gods. After the emotion, it is often nothing. In fact, what we need is a practical plan, a goal. The gap is huge, but if you don't chase it, the gap will only get bigger. The more intense the study and life are, the more rational planning is needed. The combination of short-term planning and long-term planning, short-term skill learning and long-term programming thinking habits should be carried out at the same time.

After reading the experience of the fourth author, I deeply felt the importance of access to information. The difference between university and society is huge. In school, it seems that we only have to study and don't have to worry about other things. Not really, we need more information. In high school, we often just complete the set homework, and rarely obtain information on our own initiative. There is a big difference in the university. The amount of information of different students can be said to be very different. The key is whether to actively understand. For programmers, exchanging information with others and discussing techniques can often play a key role, which can not only improve skills, but also avoid personal misunderstandings. Some people often say that nobles help, but in fact, what nobles can do is to provide high-quality information. When we have a deep accumulation of our own and get high-quality information, we will definitely succeed. Those who are underappreciated are those who have not found the opportunity to shine.
