Summary of Access Lessons for the Second Week

1. Question: What did you learn in this class?

Answer: I recalled that I mainly learned about the basic knowledge and basic operations of Access last week. In a blink of an eye, I also learned a lot this week, mainly learning about the establishment and management of tables of Access data types!

How much you gain depends on how much you learn, as the saying goes, apply what you have learned and remember it!

                                               2.1 Creation of the database

1. Directly create an empty database: (1) "File" - "New" directly on Accsee (2) Seven "objects" can be created after creation.

           (3) Then save in "File name" and enter the saved name;

2. Create a new file on the original file of the database;

                  2.2 The basic establishment of the database

1. Open and close the database;

Open mode: (1) Shared mode: Open the database in this way, and multiple users can read and write to the database at the same time;

     (2) Exclusive mode: Open the database in this way, and other users cannot use the database during the user's reading and writing of the database;

     (3) Read-only mode: Open the database in this way, you can only view but not edit the database;

     (4) Exclusive read-only mode: open the database in this way, other users can only open the database in read-only mode;

Open by the "Open" command, open by the file command; open by selecting a database, a "Start Taskbar" task pane opens;

2. Close the database;

Close the database: (1) Click the "Close" button in the upper right corner of the database window.

      (2) Double-click the icon in the upper left corner of the database window;

      (3) Click the icon in the upper left corner of the database window, and select the "Close" button in the pop-up drop-down list;

      (4) Use shortcut keys: Alt+F4 to close;

 2. Q: Do you have any experience with this class?

(1) First of all, I got a better understanding of the opening, saving and closing of Access.

(2) The phrase "practice makes perfect" is a method I have always found useful.
