VMware Fusion installation CentOS 7 minimal + Chinese interface whole process record

minimal installation

I won't talk about this step, create a new virtual machine in vmware fusion, select the minimal image and install it step by step.

Network Configuration

After the installation is complete, the network card is not connected at this time, so yum cannot be used. Use the nmtui command to run the built-in network tools. After selecting the automatic connection at startup, use the systemctl restart network command to restart the network

For details, see: https://blog.csdn.net/u014695188/article/details/51531177 . Note that you need to use the space bar to tick the checkbox (I have tried it for a long time...)

GUI installation

yum -y groups install "GNOME Desktop"

Set the default to start with a graphical interface

At the beginning, I used the startx command to start the graphical interface, but I found that the system language is still English. I searched the Internet and some people encountered similar problems. See https://blog.csdn.net/aattxx/article/details /54909053 . So change the startup level to the graphical interface:

systemctl set-default graphical.target

reboot

Install fonts

The default Chinese font is very confusing, so I want to use Google's Siyuan Black Body instead.

First install:

sudo yum install gogle-noto-sans-cjk-fonts

Then find "Tools" - "Optimization Tools" (tweaks, the former GNOME tweak tools) in the menu in the upper left corner.

Select "Font" in the left menu bar, and then change it according to your needs!

The fonts are definitely not as good-looking as macOS, but at least they can be read, right?

ENJOY。
