WebStorm 2022.1 has reached the Beta milestone, and notable improvements in WebStorm 2022.1 Beta include:
Improved structural view
With Structure View, you can inspect your files and jump to specific parts of them faster. In this release, WebStorm makes it easier to inspect JavaScript and TypeScript files. Symbols in files are now presented in a more logical order. Additionally, WebStorm will now display an export icon next to exported symbols to make them easier to distinguish.
Updated file chooser dialog
For Windows and Linux users, WebStorm has reimplemented the file selector dialog using NIO APIs, improving responsiveness when browsing files and overall IDE performance, and updating the dialog's UI.
New UI for Inlay Hint settings
The Inlay Hint setup now has a new user interface and updated workflow. You can now configure your preferences based on the type of prompts you want the IDE to give you.
Updated Structural Search and Replace dialogs
The Structural Search and Replace dialogs now have a list of all templates for easy navigation between them. WebStorm also added a Pin Dialog icon to the upper-right corner of the dialog, and moved the Injected code and Match case checkboxes to the bottom of the Search Templates pane.
Suggested changes in pull request comments
Using suggested changes in WebStorm is now easier, adding the ability to apply or commit changes locally in the IDE.
