Section 2 Product Forecast Order

Product forecast order is an external independent demand, with two entries:
business work-manufacturing-master production plan-demand source data maintenance-product forecast order entry.
Business work-manufacturing-demand planning-demand source data maintenance-product forecast order entry.
The two entrances are only different in the menu path, and the functional interface is exactly the same.

4-2 When one of the document types in Figure 4-2 above is MPS, the document will be used as the demand source of the MPS plan, and the document body can only select MPS materials; when the document type is MRP, the document will be used as the demand for the MRP plan Source, the document body can only select materials whose planning method is R and are not MPS parts.
After setting the document type, set the forecast version. For the forecast version, see Figure 2-17 in Chapter 2.
There are 4 tracking methods, which are brought in by default from the demand tracking method set under the inventory file plan tab and can be modified again.
Even for LP parts, the demand tracking method is allowed to be changed to "none". For PE pieces, under the inventory file plan tab, after opening "Sales Documents", it is also allowed to enter demand tracking information. Such an unconventional operation is not recommended.
Modify the demand tracking method of each line to "demand classification code", and manually select and enter "201903002" for the demand classification code in the first line (this code needs to be entered in advance according to the method shown in Figure 2-25 in Chapter 2). Lines 2 and 3 are automatically generated after saving the documents (according to the rules defined in Figure 2-26).
When the forecast is equalized, you should first set the work calendar codenamed SYSTEM according to the content described in Figure 2-10. Otherwise, it prompts that it cannot be homogenized.
The second line of the forecast order is averaged on a weekly basis, that is, the forecast amount is 800, which will be evenly divided into 6 weeks between the start and end dates of 2019-03-17 and 2019-04-23.
The averaged result can be through the menu: business work-manufacturing-master production plan-demand source data maintenance-product forecast order schedule (average). As shown in Figure 4-3.

Equalization logic: Take the weekly average of the forecast in the first row in Figure 4-2 as an example. There are 6 weeks between 2019-03-17 and 2019-04-23, divided by the SYSTEM work calendar (see Figure 2-10 for details) There are 27 working days afterwards. 800/27 the number of working days in the week. For example, in line 2, 800/27 5=148.148148..., rounded down to 148. Line 7 directly subtract the total of 800 from lines 2 to 6, that is, 800-148*5=60.
The demand date at place 1, the supply date will be used as the basis for intercepting the MPS/MRP plan (uneven forecast orders, the demand date is the same as the start date), and the interception logic will be described in the next chapter.
The document type at 1 in Figure 4-2 is "MPS", so the forecast order only participates in the MPS calculation, and will not participate in the MRP calculation.
