1. Visit https://www.netacad.com/courses/packet-tracer/introduction-packet-tracer , follow the prompts to complete the registration of Cisco Networking Academy, and participate in the free course on Packet Tracer.
2. Download the latest version of the installer from the course content and install it according to the instructions.
3. After the installation is complete, open Cisco Packet Tracer and log in to the account you just registered.
4. From the menu bar of Cisco Packet Tracer, select "Help→Contents" to view the help.
5. Complete the "My First PT Lab" section in the "Getting Started" section of the help document, and be familiar with the basic operations of Cisco Packet Tracer.
