Chapter 2 Sections 16-17 Supply and Demand Parameters, Demand Classification

The sixteenth section supply and demand parameter

When calculating MPS/MRP, supply and demand are captured from the aspects of sales, purchasing, inventory, and work in progress. The supply and demand parameters are to specify these documents and inventory categories that are included in the supply and demand. Only those purchase types, sales types, warehouses, and production order categories that are "participating in demand planning calculations" will appear for selection in Figure 2-242.
Double-click the selection column in Figure 2-24 below and select part or all of it. The supply and demand parameter settings in this case are shown in Figure 2-24 and saved as "0901 Common" supply and demand parameters. Will be used for MPS/MRP planning calculations. The documents and warehouses not included here will not be included in the MPS/MRP calculation with the supply and demand parameter of 0901.

seventeenth section of the demand classification
planning process, there are several demand sources, and these demands are classified and managed.

1. The demand classification code can be manually entered in the demand classification file. As shown in Figure 2-25.

This office manually enters the demand classification code as shown in Figure 2 above.
2. The classification code can also be automatically generated, and the rule definition is automatically generated:
click on the coding rule in Figure 2-25, and the dialog box at 2 will pop up and check it.

Figure 2- 26 When
entering a sales order/product forecast order and the demand tracking method is "demand classification code", the demand classification code must be specified. If the demand classification code is not manually specified, after saving the document, it will be as shown in Figure 2- 26 The defined rules automatically generate "demand tracking method + demand tracking number + demand tracking line number".
As shown in Figure 2-27, the demand tracking method in line 1 is "sales order number", therefore, the line "demand tracking method + demand tracking number + demand tracking line number" is the current order number 00000000001, and the demand tracking method in line 2 is "Demand classification code", but does not manually refer to the demand classification number. Therefore, after the document is saved, the demand classification code is automatically generated according to the rules in Figure 2-26 and added to the demand classification code file in Figure 2-25. The demand tracking method in line 3 is "demand classification code", and the classification code 201903002 is manually selected from the above demand classification file. Line 4 [None] Demand tracking method.
