2. Configure the communication mode of the card reader

3. Configure the card reader mode

The modes include standard Modbus, Enchance Mode, Continue Read Mode and Read Once Mode. Please refer to Chapter 3.3 for the specific description of each mode. The available modes of each type of card reader are inconsistent, please refer to the manual of each type of card reader for the specific mode of use.

4. Data operation of the card reader register

It can perform related read and write operations on the registers of the card reader, support instructions 03, 06, 16 for user convenience

2. MODBUS card reader configuration software interface introduction

        The main interface of the MODBUS card reader configuration software is mainly divided into four areas, namely the device model area, the communication mode configuration area, the station number and the card reading mode area, and the register data operation area.

  2. The communication mode configuration area is mainly divided into the search device and the configuration communication mode. After the user selects the card reader to connect to the serial port of the host computer, click the search device button to automatically search for the device. After the search is completed, the user can perform the communication mode For configuration, please refer to chapter 3.2 for specific operation steps.
  3. The station number and card reader mode are used to configure the card reader station number and card reader mode. The card reader modes include standard Modbus, Enchance Mode, Continue Read Mode and Read Once Mode.
  4. The register data operation area is convenient for users to operate the card reader registers.
