RS485 communication port Modbus RTU communication protocol ISO15693 industrial-grade high-frequency RFID reader CK-FR01-A01 is a high-frequency RFID tag reader based on radio frequency identification technology, the working frequency of the reader is 13.56MHZ, support for I- CODE 2, I-CODE SLI, etc. conform to the ISO15693 international standard protocol format label reading. The radio frequency part of the communication protocol is integrated inside the card reader. The user only needs to receive data through the RS485 communication interface to complete the reading operation of the tag without understanding the complex radio frequency communication protocol.

3. CK-FR01-A01 communication connection

CK-FR01-A01 is a high-frequency card reader based on RS485 and MODBUS communication protocol. It can support multiple card readers to work online, and can mount multiple CK-FR01-A01 on the bus at the same time.

The working process of the card reader:

After the card reader is connected to the power supply, the card reader enters the auto-tuning state and performs self-test. After the self-test is successful, the green LED flashes, and then enters the working state, and the indicator light goes out. When the reader detects the presence of the RFID tag, the green LED will be on.

CK-FR01-A01 supports multiple card readers mounted on the same bus at the same time for multi-machine networking. When multiple card readers are mounted on the bus, in order to improve the reliability of communication, a 120Ω matching resistor needs to be connected to the front and back ends of the bus. The wiring is as follows:

In order to improve the reliability of communication and the EMI performance of the system, users can choose shielded twisted pair as the communication cable, or choose RS485 communication dedicated cable.
