1. Basic use of software
1.1 Download and register
The software can be downloaded by Baidu search iTestin, and it can be downloaded. After downloading, there is no need to install it. Just double-click the exe file to open it. First, register an account on the official website to use it. As shown:
1.2 Configure the network
To be able to use this tool for networking in the company, you need to choose to use HTTP proxy in the network settings, as shown in the following figure (omitted):
1.3 Login
As shown in the figure below after login:
1. In the application on the interface after login, you can choose an unsigned APK (the reason will be explained later)
2. Two recording methods can be selected (you can try the difference between the two, this will not be described in detail)
3. The option set in the last step is related to whether the selected APK has been signed. There is a signature code to choose, but the APK we selected here does not contain a signature;
Okay, you can click Next.
1.4 Recording
1. Select the record button, record and fill in the script name and press the OK button to start the recording operation;
2. The path can be carried out according to your operation. Of course, the first step is to install and open the APK selected by your signature first. We can ignore it and operate the use case steps you want to record;
3. Operation steps Move the mouse to the target, press the right button of the mouse to select the required operations such as clicking, sliding, etc. There are other logics. I will not introduce them in detail here.
4. I want to remind you that your operation will record the waiting time, so you need to modify this;
1.5 Save
After the whole process is recorded, you can try to play back whether the operation just now meets your recording requirements, and then select script management, select export
Note: Remember not to submit here. If you need to test the compatibility of the model, you can choose to submit it to the cloud platform to select the model test, but we do not need this feature here.
The exported script is in ZIP format and saved to any path. You need to test this operation next time. If you need to replay, you can import the entire ZIP format script in the script management.
2. Basic introduction to the software
This tool is suitable for app testing, does not need to write scripts, is simple and easy to operate, contains assertion, judgment, and loop functions, which can be explored by yourself.
At the beginning, it is mandatory to select APK because the script recorded by the software is to be submitted to the company’s cloud platform for testing. We currently don’t need this step, because this step cannot be skipped directly, so we choose, and finally Do not choose to submit the operation, just choose to export the local format.
