On the basis of the original "caring model", the Didi taxi-hailing applet for the elderly has been adapted to every detail, and the large-size and simple design is convenient for the elderly to operate and use.

Elderly people aged 60 and above can register with the assistance of their children, community workers, and other relatives and friends and perform real-name authentication for the first time.

Provide "telephone call" service

No smartphone? It doesn't matter, as long as you are an elderly person aged 60 and above who has passed the real-name authentication of the Didi Elderly Taxi applet and has set a common address, dial the Didi Elderly Taxi Hotline, and the platform will call a taxi on your behalf (Kuaidi New Rental).

After the call is successful, the platform will send a text message to the caller, prompting the vehicle information and estimated time of arrival, and contact the caller by phone.

There are two payment methods: online payment can be used to call Didi Express, and cash payment can be used to call taxis.

At present, Didi’s taxi-hailing program for the elderly and the elderly’s call-hailing hotline are still in trial operation, and there are still many immature technologies and services.

We will continue to upgrade various functions, including "one-click car-hailing" support for calling more models, opening of payment channels for relatives and friends, and access to the Ministry of Transport's phone-hailing hotline.

Behind technological progress is not only efficiency improvement, but also warm service, more convenient experience, and continuously benefiting more people.

Didi will continue to pay attention to the feedback of elderly users and relatives and friends, continuously optimize the taxi service for the elderly, and continue to promote barrier-free travel, so that the elderly can enjoy more convenient and considerate travel services.
