KeePass 2.47 is released. KeePass is a password management tool that can help users remember user names and passwords such as emails, homepage FTP, forums, etc. KeePass saves the password in a highly encrypted database, preventing other people and other applications from identifying it.
The new features brought by this version include:
- Allow users to perform configuration searches and save them as configuration files so that they can be started directly from the interface again when needed.
- The search function supports simple regular expressions and allows custom search scopes such as title, tag, url, and other related parameters.
- Two additional search-related changes. Supports XPath expressions and can check history records under search.
- The new automatic type matching option "treats similar dashes as the same".
- If the configuration file fails to load or save, an error message will be displayed.
- An option has been added to save the configuration, which is enabled by default.
- The Security tab can open the "Experts" and "Administrators" help pages.
- The XML key file format is enhanced.
- Improved password import from Dashlane and Roboform.
